Towards achieving scientific and research cooperation within the framework of sustainable development and its relationship to scientific and research development, and in order to achieve the goals of the Upper Euphrates Center for Sustainable Development Research at the University of Anbar, within the scientific march of research staff, and from the standpoint of sustainable development A promising project towards achieving a healthy and clean environment for humans as one of the most important goals towards achieving sustainable development.
On Sunday, 11/5/2025, Dr. Dina Thamer Hammoudi, one of the research instructors, and one of the coordinators with the relevant governorate departments to detect environmental problems and their pollutants from the Environment and Pollution Department at the Center, she made a field visit to the Anbar Environment Office, for the purpose of reviewing, consulting and identifying the most important environmental problems facing the cities of Anbar Governorate in the field of environment and pollution for the purpose of the possibility of forming research teams through joint scientific and research cooperation between the Environment and Pollution Department at the Upper Euphrates Center for Sustainable Development Research. with the Anbar Environment Directorate, especially after the contributions of the Anbar Environment Office, represented by the Director of the Department, Engineer Kais Najeh Abed, and their great keenness to solve environmental problems in order to achieve a healthy and clean environment.
The visit resulted in the need to conduct other visits in order to lay the foundations and constants for the purpose of forming joint research teams to study and the possibility of developing appropriate solutions to various environmental problems.
