The first meeting of the Board of Directors of the Upper Euphrates Basin Developing Centre for the academic year 2024 – 2025

The periodic meeting (first session) of the Board of Directors of the Upper Euphrates Basin Developing Centre / University of Anbar for the academic year 2024-2025 was held under the chairmanship of the Director of the Centre, Prof. Dr. Ammar Hatem Kamel, in the presence of the members of the Board of Directors, on Tuesday, 1/10/2024.
The main agenda of the meeting is as follows:
· Discussing the proposal of substitutes for the respected members of the Board of Directors of the Centre who have been referred to retirement.
· Appropriate ways and suggestions to produce the Centre's guide in an appropriate manner.
· Appropriate marketing of the Centre’s products and scientific activities to reach those products to decision-makers and relevant authorities to be at the implementation table.
· Preparing for the upcoming visit of the Director General of the Research and Development Authority.
· Discussing the mechanisms of maintenance of flood stations on the valleys within the work of the owners of our research center with the approach of the rainy season.
· Work to promote scientific research in implementation of the instructions of the Ministry and the University confirming the urge of researchers to increase their ranking with regard to the Hirsch coefficient (H Index).
· Discussing the request submitted by the employees of our Centre for calculating the additional hours stipulated by the Law of Research Centre’s and referring their request to the competent authority.
