The Head of the Department of Natural Resources Development participates in the coordination meeting held in the Directorate of Agriculture of Anbar

The Head of the Natural Resources Development Department at the Upper Euphrates Basin Developing Centre at the University of Anbar, (Assistant Professor Dr. Muneer Naji Ahmed), participated in the coordination meeting held at the Anbar Agriculture Directorate on 6/10/2024, the meeting discussed the impact of climate change on the agricultural sector in Anbar Governorate, in the presence of the Agricultural Advisor to the Provincial Council, the Anbar Environment Directorate, and the Desert Studies Centre, as well as representatives of international organizations.

During the meeting, they discussed the preparation of a specialized technical study on climate change and the most important challenges facing the agricultural sector, and reviewed a set of scientific solutions and proposals to reduce the effects of climate change and enhance the ability of the agricultural sector to adapt to these changes.
