Climate change and its impact on the ecosystem

Within the Global Entrepreneurship Week called by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and in continuation of the events and activities held by the Upper Euphrates Basin Developing Centre at University of Anbar, Assistant Lecturer Muhammed Raheem Muhammad moderated a panel discussion on: (Climate change and its impact on the ecosystem), on Sunday, 1/12/2024, at the main hall of the centre.
During which the researcher gave a brief overview of the ecosystem and the extent of its impact on climate change on Iraq, where climate change is one of the most prominent challenges facing the ecosystem and its reflection on sustainable development, and each country differs in facing the side effects of changes and their reflection on the overall life, and that the most prominent challenges in climate change is the rise in temperatures and the decrease in the amounts of rain falling.
The study dealt with by the researcher through what he presented in the workshop summarized the impact of climate change on the fluctuation of the amounts of rainfall fall, and thus this impact appears on the agricultural economy and on sustainable development, increasing desertification areas, and degrading vegetation cover.
