A field visit to a number of schools

As part of the campaign launched by the University of Anbar in spreading culture and awareness among all segments of society, a team of researchers from the Upper Euphrates Center for Sustainable Development Research at the University of Anbar, in cooperation with the Directorate of Education of Anbar / Department of Preparation and Training, conducted a field visit to a number of schools in the city of Ramadi, including (Al-Zaytoun Secondary School for Boys, Elaf Secondary School for Boys, and Al-Duaa High School for Girls), to educate students of both sexes about the bad phenomena in society, which focused on (harassment, blackmail, addiction ... The topics that were addressed included many things, the most important of which were: the definition of harassment, its types, causes, the negative effects of harassment, methods of prevention and treatment, in addition to addressing the place of drug abuse and addiction, how to prevent it and report its promoters, and the definition of electronic blackmail and what are its psychological and social consequences on the victim .... etc. During the visit, guidance leaflets were distributed on the topics addressed.

At the end of the visit, the school administrations expressed all the expressions of thanks and appreciation to the research team, and this is not the last visit of the team, as there are projects to visit other schools at the level of Ramadi district and to present and present all topics that affect the lives of young people of both genders and raise awareness of them.
